Rebekka M. Gondosch (she/her)
Rebekka is a theatre maker and arts educator in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. She is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin’s M.Phil. in Theatre and Performance program, has a B.A. in Dramatic Arts and English Language and Literature from Brock University, and a B.Ed. from Redeemer University. She performs in both theatre and film in Hamilton and Toronto. Select theatre performances include The Vagina Monologues, Light Echo Theatre; Imposter Queer, an original piece as part of Queer on Stage’s Pride Showcase; and Ephemeral Home at Hamilton Fringe, Passing Through Theatre. She is a writer for the Hamilton arts blog Beyond James and is a member of the Hamilton theatre company Light Echo Theatre and the Toronto theatre company Passing Through Theatre. From 2018-2019 she was part of Hamilton Fringe’s ALERT program where she co-produced the site-specific winter performance festival Frost Bites. This year she will be directing a university production of the works of Irish playwright Lady Gregory. She has taught high school Dramatic Arts for five years.
